______ Tara is a warm, friendly dragon with a welcoming tone to almost everything she says. She has a fire and spunk in her that is most admirable, and can get even the laziest dragon to get up and do something. She gets frustrated easily and likes being able to do things 'the right way.' She likes to keep things clean and tidy. She is impulsive, doing things mostly without thinking. With her cheer and charisma, she can talk someone into almost anything, and she loves to give hearty, generous gifts. She may seem cheerful all the time, but in reality she is a mystery, a paradox. Few know of her past. If another dragon was to describe her, they'd say that she is both bright and calm, open yet mysterious. She's the kind of dragon you will meet once, but she will linger in your heart and mind forever.

Her favorite things to do include reading, snuggling with Ace, and harassing various clan members alongside Moth and Saphira.

______ Her vision blurred. She was dragging her feet along the ground, stumbling every so often. She coughed, wheezing a little as she did. Her chest throbbed and her head stung. No, she couldn't give up yet. Maybe if she kept walking, even just a little longer, someone would find her. Help her. And maybe she would live.
It wasn't always this way.
She wasn't always alone.
She still remembered.
She could still see the kind eyes of her beautiful mother and feel the comforting wing of her gentle father, and the warmth of her siblings. Early on, her clan's leader had sent her on the long, honorable journey to serve the Icewarden. Her family was so proud. They talked her through the directions, told her about the Beastclans that she had a chance of meeting. They trained her to hunt and fend for herself. When it was finally time to leave, her mother cried. Her father pulled her into a hug, and off she went.
How had she gotten so terribly lost? After running into some unsightly Mirrors, who attacked her, she ran and ended up losing direction. She knew she was somewhere in Arcane territory. A seemingly minor scratch from one of her attackers had festered and grown infected. She assumed that was why she was sick.
Unable to take any more, she stopped and collapsed under a tree.
When she opened her eyes, she felt better. There was a wrap on her infected injury. Sitting in front of her was a young Imperial male. He had saved her.
She stayed with him. He was decidedly unfriendly, but sweet at the same time. She didn't know what had happened to him, but he was cold, secretive, and awkward at first, but he slowly grew into a handsome, gentle male. He told her everything about himself and she did likewise.

She loved him. But she had a job. She had to get to the Icewarden.
That was when she met her familiar, a tiny Frostbite Hummingbird, messenger of the Icewarden. The Icewarden had used the pint-sized bird to send her a message.

She didn't have to go and serve! She could stay with him, the one she loved. She was happy. Soon, they would have a clan that they would lead. Together.
(And, despite telling him to go back to the Icewarden, the bird stayed and became her familiar)
