ABOUT
This dragon was a mechanic and has been focused on building robots, machines and artificial intelligence without using any magic. He was very keen on this and spent most of his life in the Stormcatcher machine shop at The Lightning Farm. His only friend was HAL, a female dragon who sometimes visited and took care of Padgett (he could easily forget to eat or sleep because of his work). Unfortunately, there was an incident that put an end to life of this Ridgeback: his head was chopped off by a mechanism that was out of control because of lightning. Since he was a good mechanic, it was decided to load some of his memory and all his skills into the A.I., then put the prosthesis instead of his head. It was much faster for Stormcatcher than training a new employee for this post. He was just simply programmed to work. And it worked perfectly. However, Padgett lost all his former interests except work (like friendship with HAL for example), became aggressive, he worked on wear and tear. One day he started a fight in the workshop: Ridgeback said that he suddenly found out that someone had broke the machine that chopped off his head at the day he died. Padgett said it was sabotage. There was rage in his brain, he got out of control. After that incident he decided to leave the workshop, taking his clothes, awards (crown) and golem with him. Otherwise he would probably have been destroyed for that fight. The only memories he had led him to the Water clan, where HAL lived. Since then he works here, mostly interested in bringing singularity to this lands and in evolving by becoming non-biological. Most of the time he hides his mechanical head behind his clothes. Some dragons have seen it, but they thought it was some sort or armor. No one except HAL doesn't know that Padgett is dead. These lands badly affect the mechanic, slowly driving him crazy. HAL tried to tell him, she wanted to help, but he did not listen. Ridgeback has conflicts with other dragons. For example: his golem voluntarily began to work for Alan. Pagett believes that the tundra stole his robot and he would have killed Alan, if he had not been guarded by the Imperial named Adam. Padgett is still very angry about it. upd: he returned Golem after CONSCIOUSNESS appears.

Note: Padgett's head has some improvements. For example, his jaw can work like a goblin shark's jaw. The jaws are highly protrusible and can be extended almost to the end of the snout, though normally they are held flush against the underside of the head.
