Biography

Merit
Travel Agent/Logistics

Intact Parchment wind_2.png Longneck Pack

Moving an entire clan from Flight to Flight is hard work. Merit spends most of her time loitering, chatting with friends, playing with hatchlings... but a month prior to the clan moving, she activates! And fills the days leading up to the voyage with all the necessary chores, from scouting future sites for the lair in the new flight to packing all the valuables and making nets for the hatchlings too young to fly to ride in.

She is busy all throughout the journey as well, planning the rest stops and overnight stays on the way to wherever they're going... and again when they arrive, settling them into their new location.

But once that's done, she once again resumes loitering, resting up for the next big move.
***

Merit has had trouble lollygagging in the Southern Icefields, for even by the sea it's not a very comfortable place. Like most of the clan, she's made the best of it. But when Reina came to her and said, "We've decided on our next move," well... she has rarely moved faster on preparations. This time, she has decided it's too much trouble doing all the work by herself, or trying to mobilizing dragons who aren't trained to the work.

"Hey, Amber," she called, spotting the dragon she wanted. "It's time to earn your living!"

The skydancer looked at her, crest sagging. "Ah... Merit? Have I... I haven't done wrong, have I?"

Laughing, the imperial slung a wing over his back, walking him toward the clan's edge. "No. But you're one of our consistent travelers and I find myself in need of a team. Reina's asked me to find a place on the coast of our next region and this time I want help looking and getting everyone moved."

Amber's eyes glowed. "Oh so?"

"Yes, so. Go get Nightsky and Shamrock. We're moving to Fire!"
