Every month, on the last day of the festival, Sunburst comes into town. He pulls his little cart behind him, stuffed full of little striped rockets. He hands out firecrackers and sparklers to the hatchlings, small fireworks to the adults, but he saves the ones hidden in the bottom of his cart for sundown. When the sky goes dark, he lights it up- sparkling light in every color of the rainbow, shaped like stars and flowers and rings, and, in a grand finale, the festival's patron deity flying through the night sky.

Sunburst is a quiet, clever man, always with a smile on his lips and a surprise gift in his pocket. He's an older fellow, but his eyes are still bright despite the gray on his muzzle. He keeps to himself mostly, coming into town once a week or so to spend the day at the market and get a drink and a hot dinner at the tavern. He likes kids, and often finds himself surrounded by all the clan's young as he tells some story of his youth's adventures.

Sunburst was among the first to join the clan after its founding. He came from a large family in a large clan, and left when he was young, feeling he was needed elsewhere. He wandered for much of his youth, learning all he could, and getting into some trouble along the way. Eventually, he found himself training under an elder in the Ashfall Waste, learning magic and pyrotechnics and how to keep them very separate. He made his way home, and from there, to the young Clan Flygefisk.
