Dewdrop is the kind of Rainwing to be found lounging in the sun, bathing his scales for extended periods of time to try and get the maximum color potential out of them. His vibrant green and orange scales aren't really seen as desirable in the Rainwing colony he lived in, as the color was generally associated with disgust, but that didn't deter him from being the brightest green he could.

In an odd twist of fate, his desire to be green and orange offered him natural camouflage against the tropical terrain, the only giveaway to his presence being the blackened scales that permanently lay on his neck. The scales couldn't change color, instead being black from his other ancestry- the Nightwings. Only fate smiled upon him when they positioned the jet black markings, inlaying permanent designs into his being that prevented him from ever fully cloaking himself, leaving him at a disadvantage unless he managed to hide his neck.

Aside form the criticism from his kin, Dewdrop lived a rather peaceful life among the tropics, eating papayas as he pleased. It seemed he was one of the many that were content with staying within the safety of the tropics, not wishing to stray far from the borders of their peaceful home. It was only until adventure unknowingly dragged the poor hybrid far passed his home's boundaries did he truly begin to realize how wonderful not only his home was, but how beautiful the rest of the world looked through ignorant eyes. 		___________
