The Copper Courier

SUMMARY
Fausto plays a simple, yet vital role within the clan: he is the head courier of the Rivensong. Responsible for ensuring that letters and packages reach their intended destination both within and without the clan, Fausto keeps busy. While mostly relying on hired help or exaltees in training to do most of the basic delivery for the clan, Fausto still delivers the majority of the most important missives himself.

A friendly dragon who gets along well with pretty much every member of the clan, when not working Fausto mostly visits with friends or spends time relaxing at his home. He has been to even the furthest parts of Sornieth on behalf of the Rivensong, and enjoys telling the stories of his travels. His easygoing humor as well as his confidence and pride in his work, means that Fausto is a well-respected dragon within the clan.

HISTORY

Born on the first day of a Mistral Jamboree celebration, Fausto grew up steeped in and surrounded by the culture of the Windswept Plateau. Even as a young dragon, he enjoyed traveling around the Plateau and the surrounding lands with his family. As he grew older, he sought out a profession that would allow him to keep traveling and maintain his wind roots- a courier job ended up being perfect for him.

Fausto worked with several different organizations and clans over the years, unaffiliated with any particular group or clan. Over time, however, he was courted by a young clan Rivensong, who needed a head courier, and agreed to work for them. His work has changed from being purely hands on to more administrative as the clan has grown, but he still manages to find the time to fulfill his wanderlust through his own courier work.

Despite being a friendly and well known dragon, Fausto guards the secrets of the clan well. He is the only one allowed to handle the letters and packages of the clan leaders, as well as all mail that comes to them from other clans. A fast, clever, but friendly dragon, Fausto is good at his job- and knows it. He only hopes that he can continue to carry on his work even as the clan prepares for dark times.
