Fear. I win through fear. Many of my opponents don't know they're being hunted until my claws are constricting their throats. My favored prey is the wild shade-touched fauna that encroaches upon the territories. Familiars? No. I seek no Companions. I only seek their flesh to feed my Clan. I wear the fur, feathers, and bones of the fallen to better blend with my environment and intimidate any creature that may glance upon me. Mercy is not a courtesy that I offer. To show mercy, is to show weakness.

The muscles in Sirina’s body tense when Chant approaches. The brave soldier is indeed struck with a sudden surge of fear that makes her hesitate. A small hesitation perhaps, but one the weathered shadow dragon knows could cost her life in any other circumstance. She composes herself best she can, although still appears shaken up. “…Chant,” She begins cautiously. “You are a well-equipped soldier. Your adornments are both warning trophies and camouflage. I would dare not cross your path - but I doubt I would know I was in your way until it was too late. You are the most fearsome hunter I have encountered. Thankfully, the situation is not one with your claws at my neck. I would surely lose that confrontation. You may just be faster than I am…”

She smirks a little, and then her expression turns grim. Her eyes glisten with a strange, mysterious darkness. “Stay keen, great hunter. The threat of the Shade may be stronger than it might appear. Seek me if the danger escalates. I have a score to settle.”
