Biography
Galahad was an unexpected hatchling. His father Luke was a bit of a wastrel. Luke was always moving from lair to lair bestowing his presence on all that were in the range he considered his. Well he at least considered his presence something they should be honored by. He wasn't unpopular but everyone knew he wouldn't stick around and he never planned to settle down. Encounters with him were just dalliances.
One day when he came back to his lair he found two eggs sitting there. Luke had no idea where they came from and later would be unable to find their mother, but for now he stayed to take care of the eggs. For while Luke wasn't one to settle down, he wasn't one to leave eggs to die. When the eggs hatched two little boys tumbled out.
At first, Luke was charmed with them and doted on them. Soon Luke grew restless being stuck to one spot. He fretted about all the places he use to check. Was the wild life still in balance. What had the Ridgeback clan been borrowing now. So, many things he regularly over saw and no one was around to make sure they were all taken care of.
The little hatchlings wouldn't be able to keep up and he certainly wouldn't leave them alone. When inquires into the mother failed to garner results. Luke came to the decision he would need to foster them out. He patted them on the heads and told them what good boys they were and sent them off to be fostered. Galahad never saw his brother or father again.
