A core member of Totemclan, no one knows just for how long he's been a part of the clan.

The answer? From its very beginning.

Most assume the red skydancer joined in some point or another, and while he has outlived almost everyone, none really pay attention to how Begravenis doesn't seem to...age... It's for the best none have noticed, really. Begravenis hates having to fake his own passing, only to return in a new form. He's done it a thousand times, but to rebuild trust and regain his status as a trusted core member of the clan takes ages- and he'll have to pretend to be unaware of the more refined inner workings of the clan.

Having to appear as an outsider- a newbie who doesn't know a thing- is easier to mess up than you'd think, especially when you're returning to a home you've lived in for hundreds if not thousands of years.

Polite, mild-mannered and surprisingly wise, Begravenis takes care of all of Totemclan's more morbid needs. Whenever a dragon has to be buried, he's there to embalm the body, plan the burial ceremony, help loved ones trough the process of grief and (if needed) communicate with the spirit of the deceased or help them pass on. This, paired with the oddly ominous aura the skydancer seems to radiate makes him a dragon many would avoid.

Though, they are just as quick to seek him out when they need a shoulder to cry on, as Begrav has the uncanny ability to make dragons feel better. Even those who do not wish to live tend to talk to the Skydancer, and he manages to aid them time and time again.

However, with how the clan has been relatively peaceful lately, there's not much need for the morbid dragon to do anything, giving him more time to focus on some... 'part time jobs' he has elsewhere. None have asked what those 'side jobs' are, so no-one knows just what the skydancer does when he leaves the clan.

One thing he does while not on the job, is try and spend time with his mate, Helios.

Begravenis is very much like an ancient, wise and benevolent deity, aiding those who need his help, and generally living unbothered by the fact he's largely avoided. Which is why when it comes to actual romantic relationships he's.... a fish out of water, to put it lightly. None have ever shown him romantic interest before, and it's enough to get the skydancer flustered and awkward. A rare sight, though he seems to be getting better at it (though the occasional freak out cannot be avoided- it's just too foreign of a concept that someone could be in love with him!)

Occasionally someone in the clan will refer to Begravenis as 'death's son' or 'death's apprentice'. While not many notice, Begravenis cringes internally every time he's called something like that. Not because it's untrue or rude, but because it's a bit too close to the truth.....
