Naomie

January 25th 2016, a strange and frightening phenomenon occurred. The couriers disappeared. But deliveries went on as normal, all carried by a diligent little fae called Naomi. She whisked across Sornieth, delivering multiple messages to different lairs, all at the same time. Some became curious of the little messenger, and attempted to find her home. Yet all they could discover was the name Naomi. Finally, someone thought of using the famous scrying ability of the Spiral Keep, searching not by her name, but the colors of her wings. Little was found, but finally they had a lead on a little fae named Naomi, who had disappeared long ago to serve her deity. Yet searching among the records of the departed, where they have their portrait taken as they stand upon the pedestal of honor, had no results. She had no portrait.

Even more striking was the count of her kin. It was in the hundreds of thousands, more than any lair known was able to hold, and it kept rising! It was long known that every clan, no matter it’s size, was only able to hatch 25 hatchlings at once, it was just part of the rules that governed the world, yet Naomi’s count was rising faster than that.

And then the truth was uncovered. Naomi’s lair was that of the deities’. All of the dragons that went on to serve dwelled with her. Finally, the couriers returned, but neither they, nor the prophets, called Game Mediators, answered questions about the girl, who vanished without a word. Sornieth was left to wonder, who was Naomi? What was her relation to the exalted? Was she their caretaker? Their Warden? Did she keep them from returning, or merely care for them as they served their duty? Did she serve the deities? Or, as they had no record of her, did she serve the Shade.

Talk of her was restricted to whispers in the Shadow, even after one of her children was discovered to dwell in Sornieth still. Though she no longer bears young, Willow has had many children, and the line of the one termed ‘Gatekeeper’ continues to this day.

Here's the gist of information we've collected so far:

An account named Naomi with the apparent IDs of '0' and '6773' has somehow overwritten the courier profiles. We are also able to reply to all of the messages that should've been sent by couriers. These observations hold true for all courier messages, both new and old.

Naomi is a user who has taken over the Couriers of Flight Rising in what appears to be a glitch.





But that’s not all she is. If you search for her in user search (she’s in Shadow flight to narrow it down) you’ll see she has over 15 million dragons, and the number is growing fast.



Also, search for exalted dragons in dragon search, every single one of them will say they are a part of Naomi’s clan.


Naomi is user 0. Her account doesn’t exist and neither does her profile dragon. Clicking on it will bring you to a 404 page.
But
Naomi isn’t just an account created to hold exalted dragons. She can’t be. Because of Willow.


Willow is one of Naomi’s children with Coal, another exalted dragon. You can view Coal’s exalted page, but clicking on Naomi will bring you back to the 404. Willow is the only child of Naomi that is not exalted. Coal is dragon 25343. If you bring that back a number, to dragon 25342, you get a 404. Run that number in the scrying workshop and you’ll see Naomi.


Willow is our proof that Naomi isn’t a storage account. She was someone, and Naomi and Coal are probably her progens. She bred her dragons and sold one of them. She even changed flights at some point, seeing as Naomi and Coal are Arcane and she is currently listed as Shadow. Which means 1 of 3 things.
1: Staff stole an inactive account and used it to store all exalted dragons and it’s somehow become unhidden, simultaneously taking over the account that handle the couriers.
2. This is the work of a hacker.
3. Someone is very upset at being exalted.

UPDATE: It appears Naomi has gone. Appears. The account has actually just been changed to Flight Rising and the profile dragon removed. Still in Shadow flight though.



However, the fact remains that clicking on Willow’s mom leads you to a 404 page. Which means Naomi is still out there. Somewhere.

Final update. It appears Naomi is finally gone. After the rollover the account has disappeared, all the exalted dragons have the right labels, everything is back to normal.
Except for one thing.


Naomi’s dragon profile is still a 404.

She’s still out there.
