Biography
Fallen King | Warrior
"My past is not my present. I have changed."
"My past is not my present. I have changed."
Arahathan was born into the Plague territory to direct descendants of Demelin and Sylva. He was raised constantly with his birthright in mind, and when he came of age mustered his family's armies and began a campaign of conquest across Sornieth, razing lands in his homeland of Plague, as well as Shadow, Nature, and Light territory. He easily marched into the Sunbeam Ruins, claiming the Hewn City as his own. For a short time the city flourished, but as Arahathan reveled in his new wealth he lost his grip on the city and it was plundered by the same armies he used to capture it.
Without an army to protect himself and the city, Arahathan was cast out and brought to trial for crimes against the realm. After sentencing, he was sent to be imprisoned in the Fortress of Ends. One of the wealthy families in attendance of the trial took pity on him—his new mate, Azula, was carrying their first clutch of eggs. The sentence was transferred to be carried out in the family's personal dungeon so Arahathan would still have a chance to see his hatchlings. Within a few days, he was bound and shipped out to the Southern Icefield.
While the eggs formed and incubated, Arahathan spent his time in the dungeons beneath the castle. The family was of noble birth, and had just welcomed a new daughter, Princess Arianné, into the world. By the time the eggs hatched, Arahathan was allowed to leave his cell every day for a few hours to see the hatchlings. The older the hatchlings grew, the more time Arahathan was allowed to spend with them. Bit by bit, Arahathan grew from a cold war tyrant into a loving father, realizing that his children could live out their days in the sun as long as he trained them well and taught them of their birthright. His son, Legacy, was the only one who took a real interest in his father's teachings, so he received the most attention.
After Legacy claimed the Hewn City as his own and made an alliance with the Wind clan, he returned to the Southern Icefield. Now all grown up, Princess Arianné was careful about handing Arahathan over. She doesn't want Arahathan spilling any castle secrets...
