There was always something dark about Aethos, even from the begining when he crawled out of his nest, a young imperial.
He was always fascinated with the sciences, convinced that whatever you could do with magic, you could do with science. This of course quickly led him down a path that was considered evil and his was shunned from by family. It didn't bother him much, they did nothing for him anyway.

After finding a new home under the dark touched king, Aethos was finally able to practice his craft the way he wanted, even stooping so low as to experiment on himself. And as his body shifted away from the regal form of an imperial into something else his mind twisted even more.

During this time he was gifted a small creature to experiment on. A fae, who he nick named Pet, or at least she started as a fae; now her body is more machine than flesh. And so began Aethos' fascination with death and life. His science soon turning into some strange form of mechanical and surgical necromancy.

His operating room is his stage. And there really isn't any place his madness and evil won't take him.
