He looked almost blind, although his parents found quickly enough that that wasn't the case; Dresden was quick to crawl around the nesting room and just as quick to find his clutchmates and paw at them. Unlike his siblings, Dresden possessed little magical inclination. Although he was trained with the basics alongside his siblings, he quickly forked into his own path. Instead, he trained with the initiates of his birthclan to learn combat and to grow in strength. Indeed, this seemed the best course of action; the constant exercise did wonders to curb his boundless energy. Although Dresden had a short attention span and was constantly distracted, it was in fighting where his love lied. This he took after his father, who trained him as regularly as he could. Dresden seemed to carry more ambition than his siblings; he regularly talked of leaving the clan and starting his own life. When at last he did, his parents were sad to see him go. Dresden was the first of his clutchmates to leave, but he seemed the most ready for it. His mother gifted him a small grey cat as a companion, the bleary eyed feline lazy and ready for sleep. Dresden fell in love with the creature immediately. On the other side, his father gave him a sword made of dark steel, the metal polished to a shine and sharpened to a dangerous point. - came to Byzmara as a hired guard on a trade caravan
- met Hitsugaya in the middle of some trouble in the city
- started to idolize him as a master of ice and view him as an example of what a real ice warrior could do
- decided that the "something more" he was seeking was to help protect the city under Hitsugaya's command
- trained hard and did indeed became part of the city guard and senpai noticed him, hooray for that
