He's well known to be a clumsy, yet supportive person, who thrives to support and "spread sunshine" to all he stumbles upon - And although he means well in his eagerness to help, for those who rather like a peaceful and quiet lifestyle, Hanuel can be an overbearing nosy presence for them; nonetheless, his intent is never to purposely make someone feel uncomfortable - Because of his constant, cheery countenance, it comes as a surprise to many when he introduces Ferric- a serious, negative fellow who shares little to none similar characteristics to Hanuel- as his childhood and best friend - As Hanuel retells it, the opposite duo first met as children when Hanuel was found crying in the bushes near a park Ferric frequently played in. Hanuel had ran away from home that day after quarreling with his siblings and vented this to this serious-looking child. Ferric, fed up with hearing Hanuel cry over such a stupid thing, reprimanded him for "being such a baby" and told him to "suck it up and go home". - After being practically dragged home by Ferric-—with Hanuel sniffling the directions to his house along the way—Hanuel went to say his thanks to Ferric the next day at the park. From then on out Hanuel followed Ferric everywhere he went, self-titled himself as Ferric's best friend, and the two have been the closest friends ever since. - As he is a fairly sentimental person, Hanuel likes to keep anything he can in his handy-dandy Owlcat journal. When others open the book to track the owner's information (as the klutz tends to leave it anywhere he goes) they can come across pressed flowers, written quotes, photos of various different people, origami of all sorts of animals (though none of them are folded properly) and happy entries of moments from the past. |
