Aranyani

Personality Aranyani was among the most faithful hatchlings of the Founders of the Tir nAill Clan, Arduinn and Goibhniu. Dedicated to her family's beliefs, she often sought for answers in life through the spirits they so often worshiped and consulted. Her behaviour was often mysterious, yet regal- like a true Druid. She would often fiercely defend herself, her beliefs, her family- her clan. She was very much like her father in this way; but she was not as soft and gentle as her father. She was often just as emotional, yet stern as her mother. Aranyani was also blessed with unique abilities. Despite having no relation to the Clan's Medium, Taijitu, Aranyani was born with the gift to communicate to the Nature Spirits- the Tuatha de Dannan. This ability had proven beneficial time and time again. Whenever a certain situation occurs in which she would need to seek help, she would turn to the spirits, speak her troubles, and they would show her possible outcomes. From there, she was able to determine certain decisions that were in need of being made. Though, often times, the spirits would prove... troublesome... As they did for Tir nAill's Medium, Taijitu- often showing her horrific visions and images of past wars, and future deaths. Her abilities never cripple her, however. She learned to overcome the the vile images, accept all outcomes as possibilities and not definite, and learned to take heed to the spirits- listen and try to understand them. Such qualities about her had made her an ideal Heir to the Clan. However, such a life was not for her. |

Biography Aranyani was meant to become the Heir of the Tir nAill Clan, however, despite her fierce loyalty, she did not find home in her clan. Perhaps because something called forth to her- maybe her charge? She knew not, she simply knew that the Tuatha de Dannan spoke to her through the trees, and informed her she must go forth on a journey to her destiny. And so she listened. For days, she traversed all the lands of Sornieth, learning and growing with each experience, as the spirits called her forth and guided her. It was not until she completed a circle around the lands of Sornieth, thrice over did she find herself back at the beginning- the Viridian Labyrinth. Though, this time, it was not with her birth clan, but another clan. Nestled near the border of the Labyrinth was the Sun Patch Clan. The spirits hummed within Aranyani. She was home at last, and she knew it. This was where she belonged, and where she must stay. This was her true beginning and her end. |
