Personality and Traits
Fiercely loyal and proud of her clan. When Caramel set out on her Search she never imagined it would be an entire clan. Originally she had mistaken her Charge as the place where the Vwilex Clan resided, but found the strong loyalty and desire to protect was not the place where the clan lived but rather the clan itself. She only learned this when the clan embarked on their journey to the Wind domain, and then again to the Light domain. Her extreme loyalty and devotion to protect her clanmates can blind her however, as she often gets so caught up trying to make one solution work she'll fail to see other ways to handle a problem.

History
Her membership of the Vwilex Clan was a staple in the clan's growth and success in its early days. The other three members - Captain, Mavis, and Dusk - were able to focus on hunting, foraging, and building while Caramel kept watch for any dangers. Caramel being a light sleeper was a plus; though she too needed rest, she was still able to detect intruders who came too close to her dozing clanmates. She was, and still is, proud to have watched the clan grow and prosper. Though spry and young, she knew she would eventually need help as the clan continued to grow, and enlisted the help of Sunrise and Moonrise, a mated pair who moved into the clan seeking a more communal setting than where they came from. Caramel had trained many before their arrival but none had ever made it past her strict training regiments she deemed necessary to become a defender of the clan. Sunrise and Moonrise succeeded, passing her tests with flying colors and going above and beyond her expectations. The pair, having lived only with each other previously, had developed a schedule of one being awake while the other slept. As their names implied, Sunrise was awake with the sun and Moonrise was awake with the moon, both awake around dawn and dusk. Their schedule worked to Caramel's benefit and she was able to establish an around the clock watch and patrol of the clan and territory thanks to them.

Caramel was one of the dragons who sided with Captain and supported his decision to move from their home in Ice. She felt the territory was too inhospitable to the clan, and limited their ability to grow stronger as a clan. Not only that, but the territory and den sizes were too small to accommodate the clan, nevermind that there was no room to further expand to make way for new additions. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in the Wind domain, free to stretch her wings in the vast sky without icicles pelting her. She joked it would make her lose her edge and used it as an excuse to work even harder to refine her focus and fighting skills. She would often choose a spot close to where Icebreaker was playing music or writing songs, as she enjoyed listening to him while she trained. She enjoyed his singing voice, but loved when he played instruments with bamboo reeds even more. He pretended not to notice but was silently glad someone appreciated his work.

Debonair and Rosetta are the latest additions to Caramel's security team. Debonair works directly under her, and she trains him harder than the other to ensure he is fit to take her place whenever she decides to retire. Though Sunrise and Moonrise have worked with her longer, they feel no ill intent towards her or Debonair over being passed up to take charge. Debonair is left to oversee the Elite Fighters' training when he's not busy with Caramel. Rosetta almost didn't make it past Caramel's regiments. Caramel admired her tenacity and the way she stood her ground however, and, after making the Skydancer promise to train hard, declared Rosetta the clan's hoard guard. Since moving to the Light domain, Caramel has been slowly stepping back from her duties, allowing Debonair to learn how to handle things himself and learn how to interact with his fellow officers. She is considering retiring from guard duty soon.
