Self appointed judge and jury, Chimera is the all presiding leader of the Petulant Pustules clan. She rules with an iron fist, entirely lording over those who call her rotting domain home.

Before finding solace in the Plaguemother's binds, Chimera was a lone traveler, having an existential crisis after being expelled from her home clan due to her mental and physical instability. Crazed by feverish nightmares and visions, she wore herself to the bone trying to find relief from her illusions.

At one point, she gave into temptation and stole herself away in the forbidden section of the library she used to guard in effort to find answers. Her only friend at the time had to pull her away rather violently, something that had never healed both physically and emotionally. Put to chains, she was scheduled for execution when the same friend secretly released her with a reluctant bid telling her to never return. After months of travel, she eventually collapsed somewhere in the Scarred Wasteland and briefly found peaceful death. Of course, that was not yet her time and the living meat of the desert found their tendrils pulling the ridgeback deeper into the fleshy plains.

Awakening from the pus of a giant blister, she was reborn in a new body, something insectoid and alien. Her mind was dazed and, either from noxious fumes or delirium, experienced a sense of clarity for the first time in years. Seeing her new life as a sign of mercy from the Plaguebringer, she became fervent in her desire to serve her new deity. Her purpose is unclear but she has no other desires than to sacrifice it all to the wastelands.

As of present, Chimera continues to gather followers in her cause to serve the vile goddess. Building alters for food and trinkets, calling together mass worship circles, Chimera takes it upon herself to bring together outcasts, especially those easily molded into her ideals with promises of a better life or those who simply will not be missed. In truth, she does provide her followers with the happiness they crave at the price of being under her claws. She has few relations with others aside from her mate, Mantis; daughters, Ash and Soot; and aid, Toad. While she is a "fair" leader, she has little tolerance for those who act against her desire to sacrifice anything and everything to her god.
