Personality
Idril, born of an extremely wealthy demon bloodline, possess a perfectly composed appearance. At a young age, she behaved in a mature way, which always irritated her siblings. Due to the the tragic faith of her family, Idril became more tranquil and only expressed her true feelings by playing her beloved instrument, eru.

Idril has a very compassionate heart which sometimes leads to confrontations with her mate. Also, her passion towards gardening occasionally becomes a bit overwhelming to other family members. When administrating she tries to be fair, honest and usually resolve into an understanding with Jaken. She takes pride in being very efficient and mastering eru.

Early Years
Idril is the daughter of Triton, Ruler of the Seven Oceans and his wife, Athena. She had a close relationship with both of her parents and not so much with her siblings that frowned upon her. She never had many friends due to the fact that she disliked many demons under the sea because they were often unsightly and she both feared and resented them.

Athena and Sesshomaru's mother had long been best friends and visited often each other. It was then when their progeny met. Idril found Sesshomaru an exceptionally beautiful demon who she wished to befriended with. Both shared the same value in dignity and other's inferiority compared to them. Their friendship blossomed because Idril was the first demon who wasn't defeated by Sesshomaru's poisonous claws.

Physical Description
Humanoid form
Idril appears as a graceful, tall and slender young woman. She has a fair skin with pointy ears, silver eyes with slit pupils, and a very long golden hair with bows as decorations.

Yōkai form
Idril's true form is a giant white dog. Her eyes become red with blue irises. Idril's life-like hair wraps around her body and extends into her tail with a huge bow tied around it.

Outfit
Idril usually wears a selection of different style of dresses and kimonos which Sesshomaru has bought for her. Her taste of clothing has changed since growing up and her outfits don't consist anymore weaved gold in the fabric threads. Idril has various types of pashminas which she often uses to cover both of her shoulders. Her outfits are conservative and tend not to show too much skin.

When Idril was young she had a pair of golden slippers which she was very fond of. Since then she got a new pair but was kind to pass the pair to her daughter who found them first.

Powers & Abilities
Thanks to her Immense Demonic Power she is a entity few are able to match in combat.

Immense Demonic Power: As the full blooded daughter of the Great Dog Demon, Idril is overwhelmingly powerful and poisonous, being a match for any opponent she might encounter, although she tends to avoid open combat and finds intelligence much more useful than brute force.

Immunity: As Idril's main source of power comes from water, she has a great resistance to injury. She also has minor healing skills which she can extend to injured demons.

Flight:Idril is capable of independent flight in her humanoid form, and can also hover motionless above the ground. She will sometimes carry other individuals in her arms.

Immense Speed: Idril can move faster than the human eye can perceive, both on land and in the air. Idril can move incredibly fast without much exertion. She can also instantaneously close long distances without being detected by others. After many childish competitions, she had to admit being slower than Sesshomaru.

Enhanced Senses: Due to her lineage, Idril exhibits extremely heightened senses, particularly her sense of smell. Through smell alone, Idril can follow events transpiring far away or determine events which have already transpired.

Tranformation: As a Daiyokai, Idrill possess the ability to transform from her typical humanoid form into a gigantic, white furred dog. She also has the ability to transform into a small orb of light and through her lineage into water permanently.

Immortality: As a Daiyokai, Idril has an extremely long lifespan. She appears to be physically around 19 years old despite being chronologically over 200 years old.

Animated Hair: The golden hair on Idril's head can be extended to great lengths and used to whip, constrict and fling her opponents or wrap around her whilst flying through air. She is very proud of her long hair and considers her hair to have octopus-like qualities.

Poison Whip: Idril can also generate a thin, whip-like strand of green-blue energy from her fingertips. Unlike Sesshomaru's whip, Idril's whip is so potent in poison that regardless friend or foe it can puncture armor and flesh with ease and can burn flesh upon contact. For catching falling allies or yanking someone out of damage she mainly utilizes her hair.

Day in The Life Of

After the death of Idril's family, she should have seized the control of her father's kingdom which intimidated the young girl whose sole ambition was to master her instrument. That time, Sesshomaru aided her to avoid her lonely faith.

After centuries when Sesshomaru along with Jaken accomplished their goals in life, Idril finally settled into her childhood sweetheart's realm. Much had happened since both had seen each other and much had they learned about life. One thing hadn't, Idril still stayed the first demon to withstand Sesshomaru's poisonous claws.
