aurum is as bright in spirit as her namesake, and is often observed with a beaming smile and a light in her eyes. however, her eagerness often overwhelms her tact. for her, the world is a fun challenge she is destined to best, and in battle she is a lean mirror who strikes hard and fast, often eliminating entire lines of enemies in one go. her person glints both with her shimmering skin and her golden adornments.

firstborn of the progenitors, aurum and her twin brother argent are heirs to the carillon clan. their parents believe their birth to be a special one, as their colors are perfect opposites; one female with white wings and a near golden body, with hidden tertiary pink; and one male, black in wings and silvery in body with hidden green genes. in this way they seem to reflect the balance of duality in the universe. the two are together in most everything they do.

on april 25th, aurum and her brother took the first step out of hatchlinghood into maturity. to mark the occasion of her coming to age, aether and firma granted her simple gold bracelets- her first apparel of adulthood- to honor her namesake and age.

on may 31st, aurum and argent reached level 25 after weeks of hard training and battle- an important milestone. a leader must be strong enough to protect their clan, and in recognition of aurum and argent's accomplishment, they were granted their first gene scrolls: ripple.
