Presently busy being a thorn in the side of Luminarie. While he's a valuable member of the Icescale's crew, he's prone to causing trouble and mild havoc aboard the ship. Fortunately, it seems like he can repair anything he breaks, so...

ADDENDUM
If anything, he had an insatiable need for speed and access to more volatile materials than any one dragon could ever need.
This was not a good combination.
It was the third time this week he'd very quickly and very violently turned something he and Baron had been working on into a pile of smoldering shrapnel, and neither of them were happy about it.
"I'm going to have to rebuild the whole thing. Brakes were too touchy." Auriga muttered, wiping what he hoped was oil off of one lens of his goggles. "I've already sent for the new parts."
"Once again you turn one of my masterpieces into scrap. I'm going to have to be the one re-calibrating every part of machinery that goes into these sailships of yours, and if you insist on wasting my blood like this, I might die before you, what, fire yourself into the sun or whatever you seem to be interested in." Baron snorted, picking up a gear, inexplicably bent in half, now more resembling a gilded flytrap than a functioning part of a machine, and sighed hopelessly. "All my work."
Auriga managed to dig the engine out of the wreckage, prying the small vial of blood from the center of it and tossing it at the Skydancer.
"You can have it back if you want it, but quit fussing. I'll fix this. And no, I don't want to fire myself into the sun, I want to create transport more reliable than kites and faster than flying. It's not the same thing."
"Then why, might I ask," Baron inquired, tossing the vial back into the wreckage, "did you try to corner a ship twice your size at it's top speed? At this point, firing yourself into the sun sees likely."
Auriga growled and continued digging through the warped metal.
"Because my job is math, and math is boring. I'd much rather crash a ship than be stuck in the laboratory with you for three more hours while you lecture me on blood magic theory."
The skydancer laughed softly as he turned his attention to another section of the wreckage.
"Sorry man, you're stuck with me."
