Personality and Traits
A lover of gossip despite saying she likes to mind her own business. Jewel doesn't particularly like children and very much prefers to be out scouring for treasure and loot. Some would consider her the stereotypical example of a butch lesbian, keeping her mane cut in a short style and wearing more masculine style clothing. She loves to surprise her mate, Tigerlily, with bouquets of flowers or a nice dinner every now and again, though enjoys teasing Tigerlily just as much as she does spoiling her.

History
Although they arrived at the Vwilex Clan on the same day, Jewel came to look up and appreciate Julia as the sister she never had. They were both young dragons upon arrival, but Julia had come in search of a new beginning and Julia had come bringing news to the Vwilex Clan from her birth clan, which was an allied clan at the time. She was greeted with the claws of a hostile Skydancer named Tigerlily and although the older dragon was strong, Jewel wouldn't go down without a fight. And fight she did. Jewel emerged the victor of their fight and made sure to tell Captain about the horrible welcome to the territory. Jewel remained with the Vwilex Clan for a few days before setting out to return home, ignoring Tigerily's warnings about a dangerous impending blizzard.

It didn't take long into the journey for Jewel to regret not listening to the Skydancer, but she refused to turn back and admit it. This decision led to her nearly dying of hypothermia after ice on her wings grew too heavy for her to fly and she crash landed in deep snow drifts. Tigerlily had been the one to come to her aid, along with scout members of the clan, bringing Jewel back to the warmth of the clan. Despite their rocky start Jewel found it a bit endearing how often Tigerlily would come to check on her while she was resting, though outwardly Jewel scoffed and tried to act tough. Julia stayed by her side while the clan's medic, Attor, tended to her.

Jewel left for home after she grew well enough, and continued to be a messenger between her home clan and the Vwilex Clan for many moons. With each visit, Jewel grew closer to Tigerlily, Julia, and Attor. The latter was quiet and not much of a conversationalist, though he told her he enjoyed listening to her journeys as he sorted herbs and containers. Not long after Jewel decided to permanently settle in the Vwilex Clan she and Tigerlily agreed to be mates. Due to Jewel's experience with traveling, Tigerlily was quick to name Jewel the clan's scouting deputy.

The pair were in the half of the clan that didn't agree with Captain's decision to move to the Wind Flight domain. However, they did not outwardly support overthrowing him or leaving the clan to stay within the boundaries of the Ice Flight. Despite this, they certainly didn't make things easier during the journey or while living in the Wind Flight territory by refusing to scout ahead, refusing to send out hunting and foraging parties, and not dividing up the results of any hunting/foraging parties equally between those who supported Captain and those who didn't. Tigerlily was not much different when the clan moved to the Light domain, but Jewel saw how their actions affected the entire clan and was able to convince Tigerlily that they needed to operate together as a single unit to ensure survival.
