Titan

Location: Baikonur Agency Headquarters (BAHQ) Job: Intern

Titan is an industrial engineering major at a university in the Shifting Expanse, and hopes in her postgraduate studies to focus in aerospace engineering. Currently, she's an intern at the Baikonur Agency, even though it's pretty unrelated to her studies. She's inspired most by Challenger's attempt to build a plasma rocket.

Funny story, actually. As a freshman, Titan started noticing weird spots of white appearing on her wings. She asked one of her med student friends, and she mentioned that she might have a case of vitiligo. So she saw a doctor for it, and they diagnosed her with penna vitiligo: a rare disorder in which only the pigmentation of the second gene is affected by vitiligo.

She was a little disheartened, but she tried to ignore it. She was a little sensitive about being triple basic, because she was from a really poor clan and none of them had been able to afford to get nicer genes, or even nicer clothes. It might look like the paint gene later on, she told herself. But it never really did. It spread from the tips of her wings inwards. She gave up eventually, asking one of her friends what they could do about it. They jokingly told her, "Get a tattoo!"

But she looked in the mirror at her wings when she got back to her dorm, and decided, screw that, I'm getting a tattoo.

So now she has a super awesome tattoo, transforming her wings into a bold set of tentacles. And not only does she feel more confident than she ever has, but she has people telling her that being triple basic suits her.
