PROFILE
Nobody questions how something that isn't a dragon got hold of a pearl, but Alwyn clutches one in her yellowed claws as she slinks through the shadowed hallways. After years standing dormant she is veiled in cobwebs and talks with a mechanical grating, though some dragons have claimed to see a flash of scales and white bone beneath her casing. She is a guard-construct, built long ago in the shrouded secrecy of the Hewn City, and since her reactivation is now the sole protector of the Shattered Palace. She watches over one inhabitant in particular. Oftentimes Clay is so immersed in his own plans that he fails to notice her trailing him; other days he is all too acutely aware of a second set of footsteps mirroring his own. There seems to be an unspoken connection between the two of them- they have a cordial relationship, and in clan matters she is something akin to his advisor. Alwyn rarely seeks out contact or conversation with other dragons of the clan, and they regard her as an oddity, not afraid to wander the unclaimed, decaying corridors deep within and below the Palace. She does so with purpose, though not even Clay can guess what this is.
