Shadow | The Matriarch Official clan leader and unofficial keeper of the Schedule, Shadow often finds herself less giving orders and more playing manager to her odd flock of craftsdragons. She coordinates the timelines of the Breezen clan's commissions and works to make sure no one dragon is over- or underworked, that all dealines are being met, and plans out shipments and incoming orders with neat efficiency. Her careful and cautious nature lends her to a passive diplomatic approach, and her inclination to listen and play devils advocate against complaints often lead her to be slightly isolated from the rest of the clan. Despite this, she does her best to push through her more introverted tendencies to interact with and bond with the rest of the clan. |
The best place to find her is in what is affectionately dubbed the paper room, a large circular cave dug midway into the west cliffside with reed mats hung from the ceiling and fastened to the walls. Each mat is pinned with tons of tiny paper notes, arranged just so to make a massive paper calendar, detailing the entire timeline of the current year. Tax letters, exalt commissions, copies of work orders, and much more decorate the calendar from floor to ceiling. The room itself is forbidden to enter by any outside the clan, and harsh repelling and alarm wards circle the entrance.
In her spare time, Shadow crafts wind chimes. Because they are custom made to the voice range of a specific dragon, however, commissioning her can be extremely expensive. When a new dragon joins the Breezen clan for year, Shadow will make a personal chime for that dragon to add to the clan chime chandelier, as a sign of fully being accepted into the clan.
