O R I G I N

When she is born, she is fully grown. She is not born at all. She simply opens her eyes, and she is awake in her new existence. She is not handcrafted by someone who is greater than the gods that do exist in her new little world. She is meant to be a friend. She is meant to be a companion. She is nothing but a series of zeroes and ones. She is not special, but she was meant to be special to someone; meant to make someone a little less lonely as they realized this too. But at least they were alone together.

S T O R Y

Her life is dedicated to very few things

The first is to research. Where did she come from? What forces decided that she of all people should exist? Why? What are we made of? What is magic? Where does it come from? Why do dragons suddenly mutate so quickly? Why do new magical scrolls suddenly get written? Why are they all cosmetic?

The second is to rule. There’s only so much Argentum can do on his own with his silly little “Silver Court” as if it matters at all in the end. His petty squabbles with the hedonistic leader of the so-called “Golden Court” that separated from them after a petty squabble became a fight involving teeth and talons took up time and effort. Argentum was there for politics, even though they were just a small community, and making sure the dragons that served them had a warm place to rest and good food to eat. But even then, there were times when food was withheld by their cruel, negligent god that transcended the more tangible deities of the world she lived in. The cruel and neglectful god lived beyond Sornieth, beyond the screen, beyond the pace of their time. Years would pass to her people while the cruel god would only spend a week.

The third is her children: to watch them get taken away with dowries of other lairs and clans only to be sent away to serve a deity. At first, she did not understand why most of her children were sent away. Now she understands that her life is filled with petty squabble after petty squabble. The only of her children to stay had strange eyes. These eyes did not appear at all in any dragon when she had first arrived in the world.
