Personality and Traits
Captain is the proud leader of the Vwilex Clan. His word is law within the clan and he almost always stands by what he says. He is less inclined to listen the opinions of lower ranking clan members, choosing to instead listen to the same few dragons. These dragons are his second in command and mate, Mavis; his advisor, Dusk; his chief of security, Caramel; and or his ambassador, Tobias, whom is also like a son to him. Captain is a formidable fighter with great endurance and a burning will to protect what he'd work so hard to establish and build. Young hatchlings look up to him and treat his scars as trophies. In his downtime he enjoys entertaining hatchlings with stories of his younger days and is quick to encourage them to do their best.

History
Captain and Mavis started off as a young pair who sought to make their home in the Frigid Flows of the Southern Ice Field. They searched for days in violent blizzards, nearly freezing and starving to death. They had awoken in the warmth of Dusk's home in a crevice of mountain closer to the Cloudscrape Crags. Dusk lived alone and had watched the pair struggle for days before bringing them to his home, offering to help them out in exchange for joining their clan later. Captain trusted the older dragon and agreed.

Dragons came and went from the clan. It grew and grew, to the point the clan had relocated several times within the Ice domain. Upon reaching the Fortress of Ends, dragons grew unhappy. With each passing day they became more rigid. More afraid of the shadows watching them. Many became snippy and quick to agitate while others became downright miserable with the living conditions. Determined to put an end to the squabbling and misery, Captain then announced the clan would be moving to the Cloudsong in the Wind domain. Many dragons abandoned the clan during the migration, and many more challenged Captain to fights frequently in attempts to dethrone him and take charge themselves. The most notorious for these challenges was Featherdance. Captain easily fought off the challengers on his own, despite Caramel's wishes to install more security measures.

Upon reaching the Cloudsong, the clan was much smaller than it had been. The few dragons who remained were cranky and bitter, still frozen inside from their previous home. Seeking a way to soothe tensions within the clan, a young Coatl by the name of Tobias was brought into the clan for his gifts to negotiate and smooth ruffled feathers. Tobias' calming words and extreme patience brought peace within the clan. To this day, Captain thinks of Tobias as his son and is as proud as a father could be. And in spite of the clan enjoying the Cloudsong, many wished to return to solid ground, and so began the journey to the Light domain. The clan settled easily in the Beacon of the Radiant Eye and surrounding areas. They relished in the ease of access to all natural resources and the bright sunshine. Overall, it was a much smoother transition than the first had gone. Since his beginnings, Captain has mellowed out and learned what it is to be a leader.
