nimorah has known struggle for as long as she can remember. born a minor deity of balance, she fought her way tooth and nail to the top. major and minor gods alike disputed her strength, and one by one she took them down. few challenge her, and those that do learn their place swiftly. though nimorah continues to serve her duties as the goddess of balance, her status as the goddess of war is what most know her by. only her servants and followers know of what she was born to be, and nimorah still believes that it was her destiny to balance the status of godhood itself and take down those that dont deserve their place. | _________ |
| _________ | as a punishment from the higher gods, they took her sight. she was reprimanded for stepping out of line from her duties as the goddess of balance. however, despite its intention, it only made nimorah stronger; she was devastated and was clueless as to how she would continue to fight her battles without the sense she relied so deeply on. she knew though that regardless of how tough it seemed, she would adapt. nimorah trained for what felt like centuries to sharpen her other senses and eventually her hearing, touch, and scent grew so sharp that she was better off than she was to begin with. any slight vibration in the ground, faint trace of another being in the distance, or soft rustle of even a blade of grass would alert nimorah. she taught herself familiar scents as well as learned to recognize the signs of an opposer- steps with an unfamiliar weight to them, smells that werent of her land or a familiar domain. many tried to get the jump on her as she was learning to live without her eyes, and all of them fell to her even in her impaired state. stories were told of the sightless beast who resided in the ostium, and many grew to challenge her simply for status. they desired to be the one to take down the one with mythical strength, but all of them believed that one without sight couldnt be as strong as the legends told. they fell one by one, each of them being taken down more fiercely than the last. | _________ |
