Often out hunting with her siblings, Ace is a powerful, physical fighter with a substantial pain tolerance. Though oblivious to others, Ace is smarter than she looks, acts, and has a critical eye.

The one with largest self-doubt.

Loyal and headstrong, Ace holds the position of the Second Division Commander of Whitebeard's forces. As a Division Commander, she often seen in the front lines to fend off various enemies.

Though the second division is scattered throughout the world, she resides at the Spiral Keep with her brothers Sabo and Luffy, mate, Marco, and adoptive father, Whitebeard.

Ace's self-doubt was born from curiosity and prejudice. Her father had disappeared, accused of actions that brought his family into danger, and Ace grew up with the knowledge that, if her father had any children, they deserved to die.

Such words haunted her for many years, even when her father was found to be innocent and returned, and it led to her violent facade as a defense mechanism. It would be several years later that Ace found the peace she was longing for.

TURBULENT PAST

____Fire was who Ace was, and she relished in it - the ability to stay warm for herself and her siblings made her glad that she was helpful despite her odd way of showing it through violence. Despite her very being was of fire, there was a time where her home was set ablaze, separating her from her brothers and possibly killing one of them, effectively giving her pyrophobia. The fear often crippled her as she prevented herself from using her fire to protect herself. Only reunion with her younger sister - who still feared fire - eased the phobia in her attempts to help her resolve the fear.

____Finding the Cove was an accident; in an attempt to look for her other brother, Ace stumbled upon the Cove high above the waters. Curiosity led her to the mystery of such place and recalled rumours - a place that can be found by those searching for an answer, and Ace was inadvertently doing that: searching for an answer to her age-old question. She has a violent encounter with a battalion of the cove dubbed 'Whitebeard's Claw' and in attempts to prove her worth as an alternate answer to her question, Ace fought with the leader of the battalion, leading to a devastating loss. Months after multiple attacks, Ace succumbed to the kindness of the Claw and joined their battalion as a permanent member of the Cove.

FLASH FIRE

____As a physical fighter, Ace is required to get in close-combat with her enemy. As a dragon who's very essence was fire, she has many techniques to utilize that to her advantage. Whenever she needs to finish an opponent quickly, she uses her fire to blind the opponent before striking with a fiery claw. Opponents of Ace - from spars, competitions, or reports from opposing Beastclans - had seen this as her signature skill, effectively granting her the epithet of "Flash Fire" Ace.

MATED

____Love wasn't on the list of Ace's priorities - it wasn't something she was looking for at all. Weeks after Ace's promotion to Commander, one of her fellow Commanders, Marco, approached her in an attempt to teach her the ropes. She would notice Marco give her gifts and his spoils, and though she was confused, she accepted them. Ace was utterly oblivious to acts of affection that wasn't hugs, cuddles and brushing each other's cheeks, so it would take weeks - weeks - for her to finally notice Marco's feelings for her. It would be months later that she realized she was mated to him... much to the Claw's exasperation (and Whitebeard's amusement).

COMMANDER

____Ace is part of the Second Division of Whitebeard's Claw. The division specialized in mixed defensive and offensive combat where members of the division could easily transition between defending their battle partner or attacking alongside them - a skill Ace had. To be a division commander meant they were one of the best in their division's specialty, and Ace received the honour of being the Second Division Commander a year and a half after she joined.

Ace's adopted father. While Ace's first meeting with Whitebeard resulted in over a hundred days of failed assassination attempts, Whitebeard was nothing but patient and kind, if not teasing. He's one of those responsible for soothing Ace's broken soul. Very (and subtly) protective of Ace.

Ace's adopted brother. While they were opposites like sun and moon as hatchlings with Ace as the brawler and Sabo as the tactician, the two of them are close and are a trio of siblings alongside Luffy. Both suffer from impulsive actions when their loved ones are threatened.

Ace's adopted sister, younger by three years. While Ace initially despised Luffy, the persistent hatchling grew on Ace and the two of them along with Sabo became close, sworn siblings. Luffy's lack of common sense oft gives Ace anxiety attacks.

Ace's life fell apart in three stages. The first was when she and her parents had to leave Hewn City and the Sunbeam Ruins as a whole. The place was under siege, attacked by the allied Beastclans.

When one of Luffy's own guild members was kidnapped by an infamous tyrant by the title and name of "Golden Lion Shiki", Ace and Sabo joined their sister in saving them. The plan involved sneaking (read: breaking) into a top-society empire that demanded only the best - including outfits.
