Still loyal to Prince and City, no matter what anyone else believes.

Cuyan was once a soldier in the Royal Guard, unshakably loyal to the Prince, and fair and just in his dealings with the people of Cerar Oriya. But not all in the Guard were as devoted as he, and when he stumbled upon a treasonous plot within the ranks, Cuyan found himself framed instead.

Unable to escape the trap laid for him, Cuyan was stripped of his rank and sentenced to die as a gladiator in the Arena. His soldier's skills have kept him alive thus far, but death is always only one mistake away. He has every intention to escape, clear his name, and bring down those who still fly free to threaten his Prince and his City, but he knows that even if he did, who would believe a branded traitor?

Once defeated Tal A'den in a bloody gladiator match, but allowed him to live. The scarred mirror has vowed revenge for the insult, but as of yet has had no opportunity to make good his threat. Cuyan is unsure of how serious the Mirror is, and does his best to keep his distance.
