Lucilla

After being overthrown, Lucilla lost everything. Her mate and mind left her, leaving behind a broken and miserable creature. She watched as the clan grew both in number and wealth to levels that she previously couldn't comprehend, with treasures she could only dream of. When the weight of her failure finally grew too much she sought to leave the clan and return to the wilds she was born in.

That too however turned to failure, as she had forgotten how survive on her own. Her pride died a slow death as she returned her old clan to beg for a place in their ranks, literally laying her life at the feet of a pair she had once tried to murder.

Noriko, ever merciful, allowed her a place to stay. Camui, ever beautiful and kind, treated her wounds and fed her.

She would be kept away in the off-premises dwelling with no other company but Alkali, the familiar caretaker. She was grateful, and sought to assist him in anything he needed of her.

It was back-breaking, and her heart was heavy with grief for her mate and her friend. But it was more than she deserved.
