Oh, what wonders are out there, just waiting to be discovered.

As a child, he would wander off from the Gatekeeper's lair, sometimes for days, so he could write in his handy journal of the different species and creatures and plants and bugs and stones and everything else he'd spotted that day. Aspen knew that he wanted to join The Shrouded as soon as he could. Going on exploration digs has always been a dream of his, and if he could discover an answer to a question that's been asked, it'd be an opportunity of a lifetime.

Aspen enjoys writing, and seeks to express his view of the world through long-form poetry. He is often quoting his favorites to others, hoping that the words would touch them as it did him. Although he loves to explore, he can be kind of lazy. However, he does abide by the belief that people should take it easy, and take a moment to smell the flowers before rushing off to whatever duty calls.
