Vredexa

"I'm just a jelly maker.."

Vredexa was misunderstood by her clan. She was a Fae dragon who was born into a clan of magical Fae. That may sound all well and good, but Vredexa was a rough and tumble kind of dragon. She enjoyed wrestling with other dragons and being tough despite her size (which of course as a Fae she was small, but she was very large for a Fae dragon). Her clan looked down on such activity and she was always getting in trouble. She cared little for magic lessons and only wanted to learn to fight.
She would sometimes venture off and fight with neighboring clan's members for practice against larger Guardian and Mirror dragons... and would often win! But returning to her clan with scratched and scrapes always gave it away and she was constantly being grounded which meant being locked in a cave and forced to study magic for 12 hours straight! But the punishment was worth it to her. On days where she couldn't go practice fighting with her friends in neighboring clans, she would also have the hobby of making jellies and jams. Though it wasn't magic, her clan welcomed this is something close to alchemy simply to keep her satisfied with something and out of the way (and not fighting!) She even drew magical runes and symbols onto her sides with the Jelly to make her clan happy and make it seem more legitimate... but really she was just mocking them and laughing to herself.
But one day a rogue dragon wandered through their clan. Vredexa was in her Jelly making hut working on some strawberry jelly. The rogue dragon attack a lone Fae who was caught off guard and killed them before quickly moving on. When the dragon was found dead, they immediatly thought Vredexa was trying to fight again and got carried away. They were furious! Finally done with her more aggressive nature they went to get her to execute her for the murder. When they found her she was covered in strawberry jelly and they immediately assumed it was blood and saw her as guilty without asking anything of her or even paying attention to the strawberries on the table. They aggressively cast spells to capture her but her active nature made her fast.. fast enough to dodge most of their attempts at capture. And the runes she drew on herself in Jelly? They were actually defense runes used to protect against magic! She drew them on as a joke and for irony since she didn't want to learn magic, but today they saved her! She managed to escape into the forest and made it to the nearest clan that she would go to for practice. They sheltered her for the night but told that despite her innocence in the accused crimes, they could not keep her. They knew this would start friction between them and the neighboring clan as they were housing a fugitive from them so it simply wasn't safe and could start a war. She stayed one night and while there she learned of a clan who accepted outsiders and protected those who were out of place. The clan she heard of was TwistedVines. She immediately set off the next day to find them. When she finally came across their clan, Vredexa met the magestic and powerful Rosel. Rosel saw the need of the poor little dragon, but immediately realized the best fit for her would be her sister clan of Fae. Vredexa was immediately angry for being turned away by a clan who was supposed to accept all but Rosel explained that they may be mostly Fae, but they accept all kinds... even Fae who preferred fighting. She went on to explain that the clan leader was a powerful warrior who could best train her... as she was also a Fae who preferred fighting to magic. Vredexa became aglow with excitement! Rosel brought her to Nyx and explained her situation. Nyx agreed to take her on as her prodigy and teach her how to fight like a Fae!

Now Vredexa is happy among her new clan learning how to fight properly and also able to make her Jellies in peace!
