Corsair's Seaspray Cap 		Despite her appearance and demeanor, Helia is not, in fact, a pirate. While she once used the title, she has long since given it up. Referring to her as such will lead her to retaliate, often in a violent matter, as it dredges up painful memories from her past.

To be specific, she abandoned the title of Pirate Captain the day she lost her first crew. An unfortunate run-in with a large militia of maren off the coast of the Shifting Expanse left the majority of her sailors dead or dying. While attempting to flee the infested waters, her ship unwittingly attracted the attention of a colossal Mantarune. The simple wooden hull stood no chance against the creature's sheer size and magical prowess. Within minutes the craft was shredded and the crew left to drown in the waters.

Helia herself was rendered unconscious during the battle, but perhaps through luck or divine intervention, she survived, washing up on the cliff-lined shores of the Sunbeam Ruins.
