Rakhi | The Treasurer Rakhi is a childhood friend of Cocoa's, and the two of them share a bond of brotherhood and blood that has lasted decades. As such he has a finely honed sense of danger, and may creep out newcomers unsure of what to make of his staring. While Rakhi has never formally gone to school, he has had some training in combat and accounting, and therefore guards and manages the cave system that shelters the Breezen Clan's hoard. His most persistent and difficult opponents, however, tend to be the hatchlings who have spread rumors of a deeper hidden vault where the truly valuable treasures lie, filled with tasty treats normally ever brought out for festivals. It's not uncommon to hear the wail of a wronged hatchling getting booted out for snooping far past where they should be. |
Older, more trusted clan members who have asked Rakhi know the true answer is that while there are deeper caves with treasure in them, it is merely a rainy day fund in the event of an emergency, and is not an truly significant sum. A few of the younger clan members instead speculate that the rumors are there more to entertain the hatchlings and provide free ward testing from the little ones who manage to dismantle them in the pursuit of additions to their hoard.
Due to the precious nature of what Rakhi watches over, he is rarely seen outside of the hoard. When he does venture out, however, he often shops for minor little accessories to hang from his hat, which is covered with dried flowers, feathers, and miscellaneous dangly bits.
