Why is there a pirate ship in the middle of a landlocked market? Well, long story short, Talvi built it here after his Guardian decided this place was safe enough for him. If he weren't Diana's charge and stuck here with her, he'd be sailing the seven seas of Sornieth. Instead, he sells little ships in bottles, pirate costumes, pet birds, and chocolate gold doubloons. If he thinks it can be pirate enough to sell, it's in his ship store.

Some days, he'll put on a show with a few of the other shopkeepers where he plays the villainous pirate out to steal the market's gold. The hatchling cheer on their hero, normally played by Sergio, to help take down Talvi and end his evil scheme. Then the audience gets to share in some of Talvi's delicious chocolate booty before going home.
