An alchemist mage that works part time at the college, and part time at the library, Celeste (with a nickname by friends pronounced "Celestie") is an apprentice mage with the goal of one day being a mercenary. She practices at the clan's training fields when she can, but usually is pretty busy between her part-time jobs.

She lives with her friend Pumpkin, and collaborates with her for learning spells and helping Pumpkin with new potions. They had met as fledglings and bonded over their love of magic and chaos.

While seemingly quiet and aloof, around their friends they're quite a jaunty and mischievous dragon. Celeste appears laid back often, as she doesn't like to show negative emotions, but her close friends can tell when something is bothering her. It's easy for her to feel stressed from the amount of work she does, but it's all self-imposed. Patchouli, the library's owner, often has to force her to take breaks due to Celeste's habits.

They often compare themselves to others and picks up more work to try to 'catch up' with others' progress. Celeste was considered (and still is) a prodigy in magic as a fledgling, but now as an adult feels that she's fallen behind. She's quite stubborn once she gets herself into something, and it takes a bit of convincing from close friends to get her to relax. Still, they promise they can handle balancing the work they've taken up, and as long as she doesn't seem too sleep deprived, others leave her to it.

In the little spare time she allocates for herself, Celeste likes to collect books, featuring characters going through fantastic adventures and fighting gargantuan monsters (with cute girls being important characters), some of which were written by beastclan (and the monsters in question may or may not be dragons). She has dreams of going off on her own adventure, but feels held back by her own hangups on her skills. They one day hope to feel confident enough to venture out into dangerous wilds... but do explorers truly ever have no worries about their quests?
