“A son of a pirate” was what they kept calling him ever since he was born. He was the only boy in his clutch, and the oldest, Edra, left quickly while leaving him with the other two for long before the second oldest, Elisha, took the youngest, Estrella, with her and then there was only him. He struggled to hold jobs, having the label of his mother with him. In the end, even he left his home, wondering where he would end up at.
  • Feeling a bit downtrodden and wondering about his place in the world, Efrain thought it was fate that brought him to the doorsteps of a temple. He hadn't yet traveled too far from his home and hadn't planned on stopping, but the firey gates of the Lux drew him in. He was welcomed immediately by a spritely greeter named Crucian. The coatl was on the small side, but his bright feathers filled the entire room with a warm glow. Crucian showed him around the temple and invited him to stay for a spell. Efrain agreed, thinking that perhaps a moment to meditate on his life, and perhaps seek guidance from the priests was just what he needed.
