Rath

Rath has always considered himself something of a master of the grift, and retiring from his position as lead trainer at Empty Circle training grounds was no different. 'Let's get the staff up to scratch,' he says, and 'why not invite the long-stay folks as well'. A few weeks later he's engineered three ferocious rivalries and dragged seven folks through the Mire until they could handle just about anything Sornieth had to throw at them. After that, it was just a matter of prodding Ras's ego until he just had to prove he could handle trainees better than Rath could... and that was that.

These days, Rath raises tea plants instead of levels and the hotel's offerings are all the better for it. You can still smell him coming, but at least now it's fresh herbs rather than Mire mud.
