- Hatched on the shores of the Shifting Expanse, Care often saw marine life and wanted to mimic them
- Since her clan was largely Ridgebacks who had accepted her into their ranks, they were eager for her to learn more about fish and particularly how to catch them
- Combining Lightning technology with her knowledge of marine life, Care was able to devise cunning traps to capture and sell seafood
- As she grew older, however, Care wanted to expand her horizons and learn more about the sealife of other flights
- After a tearful farewell and many promises to visit, Care made her way over to the Light flight and became a marine biologist of sorts
- When she heard about the underground lakes of the Hydrean Caverns, she was fascinated and decided to focus her studies on the bizarre creatures that lived in these lakes
- Although the Hydrean Caverns proved to be much more than she bargained for, Care's passion for research outweighs the dangers of her job and pushes her forward
