- Hatchling Biography -
Argok was born into a clan that resided near the Tsunami Flats, where they asked for shells and pearls in turn for a prophecy telling. As a young drake, Argok had no idea what exactly prophecies were or why so many others paid shells and pearls for such a service but well, it wasn’t exactly something he was extremely curious about. He was too busy playing on the shores with his friends, wild and carefree like a hatchling should be.

- Adolescent Biography -
As Argok got older and was found to have the gift of prophecy telling, his parents insisted that he follow suit and learn the clan trade. They often tried to push him into the training sessions and private lessons as he was so far behind his fellow fledglings, but Argok had no interest. He instead trained as a warrior under the clan’s elite guards, which was composed of dragons who did not have the gift.

The elders, unhappy with his decision, insisted that because of his refusal to use his element properly, he’d be punished. You need to be more in touch with your element, young Argok, they always said, sneering at him with narrowed eyes.

But he was in touch with his element, just not in the traditional way they wanted him to be.

When it became too much for Argok to bear, he left, determined to find ways to use his element the way he wanted to.

- Adult Biography -
Argok traveled by himself for a very long time before coming upon Ausha and Dak attempting to fish.

When he offered his assistance, the pair eagerly agreed, having had no luck whatsoever since they’d started. After Argok had managed to collect a decent amount of fish, the duo asked if he’d like to come back to the lair and eat with them. He had, after all, caught all of it, it was only fair.

Heartily agreeing, Argok was taken to the lair where he was introduced to Pleo and Reda and ended up staying a couple more nights than he’d intended. He got to know Ausha and Dak pretty well and in the end, the two offered him a place to stay, if he wanted it, and Argok said yes. He’d hated traveling.

As the clan grows and more things need to be written down, logged, protected and watched, Ausha and Dak ask their friend to help them achieve these goals. Protect the lair, protect the clan, watch the territory. Argok is humbled by the request and agrees, silently vowing to do his best.

Argok now functions as Ausha and Dak's head of security. He accompanies them, along with other council members if necessary, to meetings with other clan heads and ambassadors.

He doesn't really think of himself as a higher up in the chain of command, but well, as one of the original clan members and a council member, it gets harder and harder for him to deny, especially when others come to him seeking help and asking questions.

While Dak often works with Pleo, Argok is seen in Ausha's presence more often than not. The two talk battle strategies, old war stories and tend to just enjoy each other's company. They enjoy sparring with each other, as Argok's size forces Ausha to think instead of just acting on her gut feeling and relying on her strength and Ausha's speed forces Argok to work on his reaction time.

There was a joke that Argok had developed a crush on the guardian, but he put those rumors down immediately. He still gets teased for it though.

While he doesn't spend as much time with Dak, the two males do get along. Most of their time together is spent lamenting over Ausha's recklessness and trying to keep Impa and Thore in line.

It's safe to assume that the latter never really goes according to plan, much to their dismay.

While some might dislike this lot in life, Argok wouldn't trade his job or clan for all the treasure in Sornieth. Well, at least not his whole clan.

Maybe just Impa and Thore. He once asked Ausha, out of curiosity, how much she thought they'd be able to sell the two pranksters for, hypothetically speaking, of course.

She just cackled and proceeded to do so for a whole week.

He never got an answer.

- Additional Notes -
➤ Argok gets along well with Hyorinmaru’s familiar, Deis. The two can be seen relaxing by the lake when the imperial is away or busy.
