the starfall isles were very nearly chosen as the clan's home, and they still hold many of arcane's ideals. corey, having been born in arcane, is the most connected to those ideals, a scientist, author, and record keeper. glow has been on-and-off in an open relationship with him for a long time, and he has had cyclical attachments with both her and ahmulu over the years. he has considered himself rival to garnetwing (and everything he represents) since the clan's formation.
