Candace has always had an eye for the shiny and sparkly. She enjoys anything and everything of fine quality, from the softest of silks to the hardest of gems. She drapes fine silks across her feathers to highlight her own beauty, and believes herself to be as beautiful as the items she obsesses over. After years of collecting every finery she could find, she developed the intense desire to find a mate. Not just any dragon, no, but only the best available. And so, she went on to find a beautiful dragon with a hide that shines like the most valuable gems.

She found Oro soon after, and since then, he has been the pride of her 'collection'. She never passes up on a chance to show him off. She takes him to events of all kinds, preening over his already perfectly glittering scales and feathers. She ensures he stays strong and healthy, and does whatever it takes to make him happy. He may seem abrasive to her, and she sarcastic to him, but truly Candace adores him, and she's sure he adores her too.
