Biography

Duat, the Silent Snow
Role: Hunter
Mate: Ammit

Duat stalks you from a distance, making sure you do not detect his presence.
Personality: Chaotic Neutral
There's always that one dragon in every clan that you never see in the open when you visit because they're so busy hiding themselves. Duat would be that dragon. He spends most of his time out hunting with Ammit, but when he returns to rest, he sleeps with his eyes and ears open to detect who comes in and out. He rarely speaks, resorting to make his intentions clear with actions. Duat also seems to pay little mind to the rest of the clan, and instead always shadows Ammit. The two never talk about their relationship but it is clear that the two care for each other constantly.

Origins:
Duat's story is a bittersweet one. He never told it himself, but one could tell by his many scars and torn flesh that he never had it easy. Ammit found him first after a hunting expedition, lying unconscious at the southern end of the Wastelands. He had clearly been attacked, and one could only assume he somehow flew, then swam through the sea. Judging by his element, he must have tried to escape the Southern Expanse, and wound up on the shores of the Wastelands. Ammit was impressed by his feat, and decided to bring him back to the clan. However, in the midst of their travels, Duat awoke and attacked Ammit. The two fought for a while, but Ammit easily overpowered the weakened mirror. Duat spoke, commanding to himself that he would not die in the Wastelands. Ammit was once again impressed by his determination and offered him to live with her clan, and explained that was where she was taking him in the first place. Not convinced, Duat struggled the entire way to the clan's lair, but he never complained or asked for help from Ammit. When they reached the lair, Ammit explained to the rest of the clan what had happened, and the entire clan, impressed, silently left, singling their acceptance of the new member.
