Biography
Oguna has learned the skills of jewelry-crafting from her mother, as she did from her mother before her. The Pearlcatcher prefers to work with metal and gems versus working with leather and bone, but if someone requests that she make a piece just for them; who is she to deny their request? Oguna believes that any jewelry worn by a dragon allows others to see a piece of their soul; their jewelry is a part of them. She takes great care in crafting each piece.
When picking out gems, Tourmaline is her first person to work with to see what he has before she ventures to other clans to see what they have to offer. When she travels to other clans, she prefers to travel alone as it gives her time to brainstorm about possible pieces.
Oguna is diligent in her work; however, she knows that if she must rest or take a break from a piece she will do so. Tiredness can heavily affect the end result of a piece. Even when not working, she does not like to rush, she prefers to take her time. Oguna has a lot of patience...except for dishonest creatures. The Pearlcatcher doesn't understand how major lies can help someone accomplish anything good in their life. She and Pele are kindred spirits in this way. In fact, if Pele is in one of her swings again, Oguna stays close by and tries to steer other dragons away to allow the Coatl to run her course.
She is a bit of a smooth talker with dragons that she is interested in. Oguna is a bit vain, so complimenting her looks is a quick way to get her attention.
