✧⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯Many think fire to cause destruction and anger. Dragons feared it's scorching touch, staying away from it in fear of being hurt. Others used it to their advantage for the same reasons. Very few knew of a fires true meaning. With any power, there are those who would use it to the worst of their abilities. Fire is also known for being a light though. It could be that guiding light, that promise of warmth and sanctuary up ahead. Agni was born of this warmth. He came into being as a small flicker of fire, drifting across the lands. A simple wisp of light, often coming across lost dragons, feeling their need, and guiding them on their journey to safety. Other times he'd find dragons, not so much lost, but in need of his warmth in the cold nights as they had no found shelter. He was there for them, and over time he gain more and more power from those dragons he'd helped. The young fire spirit took on the form of a dragon as he continued to roam around the lands. As this form grew, he could no-longer travel the mortal world without stirring up superstition in many dragons. Therefore, he found a place he would be most needed. Many dragons found themselves lost unprepared in the ice territories. There, he found a large cave where he would call his home. This cave was kept warm by him and often, he would venture out looking if any dragons had gotten caught in the cold. If he did find anyone, he would bring them back to the cave where they were welcome to stay. One winter, a group of dragons came into his lair. He welcomed them with open arms, of course, but once they were able to leave again, they seemed to want to stay. At first, Agni was unsure of this, but he had grown close to them in their time spent there. In the end, he agreed to them staying in his cave, as long as they continued to let anyone in to escape the cold. He also didn't mind as their clan grew in size, letting more and more dragons in, but he mostly tended to keep to himself in his corner of the cave. Rules of the clan do not apply to Agni, but there are hardly any rules to worry about anyways. |

 Agni trained by  Squishington Dad Joke Connoisseur | Squishington and Agni fluttered through the forest together, their senses on high alert as they followed a herd of Swamp Wolf past the forest. The day had started with some Vilevenom Kelpie causing trouble, followed by hunting down some Marsh Kelpie salad for snack, and then here they were waiting in the river for their morning tea of Acid Ant pasta bake. "Never trust a tree," Squishington said, when they returned to camp with a cheeky twinkle in his eye. "They're all kinds of shady..." |
