Sax

Though they had many things, the Endless Dusk lacked a gentle, steady, warm Snapper and Sax came along to fill that need. When they took her and her sister, Sasha, in they were lacking on lair space and wondered if two unwanted orphans were worth it, but from day 1 Sax proved to be a very sweet little butterball and everyone fell in love with her and instantly regretted their regret.

She loved to watch the bees come and feast on the nectar from the massive patches of flowers nearby and decided that she wanted to keep them. She has a way with the bees very similar to Everwinter's way with the beasts and she enjoys experimenting with different kinds of honeys and giving them to the tribe as free, thoughtful gifts. Melorey and Creme love making treats from the fresh flower honey she provides for the tribe.

She is known as 'Mama Sax' from the hatchlings and is loved for her sweet gifts and her gentle playfulness. When she babysits them the hatchlings often return with sticky paws. They help her with the bees, much to the worry of their parents, but they always remain unharmed and Sax tells them 'they know how to treat the bees right, with respect and love, if only for the sweet treats they provide'.

Her self esteem is not very high and at times she tries to prove herself to be a valuable asset, often missing that she already is. Sometimes she’s so anxious to be kind doesn’t see that her hospitality is overwhelming and can scare dragons away with huge embraces and an attempt to introduce hundreds of bees individually by name. Even if she can be annoying at times if anyone dares to hurt her feelings they are more often than not hunted down by a few vengeful warriors and made to apologize. They’re usually glad they did when the ever-gracious Sax weighs down their flight home with jars upon jars of honey.
