B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Tear to Shed from The Corpse Bride.

______ The scent of rot and decay lurks under the sweet perfume of roses. One must be very close to see that the silvery lines on this imperials dark skin are not mere markings but tightly drawn stitches. The unnatural offspring of two emperor dragons the taint of undeath of her birth has left this imperial a touched rattled. She hides the marks holding together her skin beneath flowing white silks and tucks flowers behind her ears to mask the smell of death that lingers on her skin. The clothes she wears are of her own design and construction and have remarkably fine stitching. Her half-alive state has left her very nearsighted and while she has trouble seeing things at a distance her eye for tiny details is better than usual. How bad her eyesight is tends to fluctuate, preventing her from getting corrective lenses, ranging from some difficulty in seeing things at a distance to being unable to tell a customer from a mannequin. The mark of undeath has also marred her tongue; she tends to trip over her words, forget words, speak too softly and sometimes break off entirely mid-sentence. However when it comes to money and numbers she is very sharp. Her love in life is clothing; tailoring and designing unique garments for members of the Lair. When she gets inspired she becomes very powerfully focused, not eating or sleeping until the project is completed.

______ Outside of her work Alette's attention tends to wander. Her memory is only reliable when it comes to numbers and as such she often forgets a dragon's name and muddles her phrasing. Many sticky notes dot her store bearing various reminders. She often wanders in a daydreaming haze until directly addressed by another dragon or struck by inspiration when her focus narrow to the point she can not hear anyone who tries to talk to her. However her garments are of a high enough quality to forgive her eccentricities. Outside of work she comforts Soul, his curse being unable to do anything to seriously a Stitched. Her familiar Thread holds her tools of the trade.
