With a smirk and a short flash of light, Joseph stood up on his hind legs and spread his wings and arms out wide, then brought the palms of his hands together dramatically. Static electricity more reminiscent of the Lightweaver than the Stormcatcher, snaked through his fingers and around his wrists. His chest stayed even as he turned and swatted at the nearby foliage like a cat. After a moment he stopped and raised his hands, fingers splayed in an attack stance. He had a look of extreme focus on his face. Suddenly the leaves he had struck drooped and folded outward in elaborate natural designs made of cutouts like a paper snowflake. "Look! I had my hamon shoot out of the tips of my fingers in tiny strands, which traveled into the leaf and into its veins! When the hamon reached branches in the veins, it split off and continued surging through the leaf until it exited the ends of the veins and out of the leaf! The concentrated hamon from my fingers slices the thin leaves up and creates symmetrical designs thanks to the Divine Proportion!" |
