One of Yohn's two surviving hatchlings, Strontium was forced to mature early in life in order to survive. Clinging to her father's back when he hunted, she studied his hunting techniques and learned from an early age how to fight. Once she matured fully, she took up the role of warrior and clan defender. Raiders and wanderers abound in the Scrub, and Strontium has fought off quite a few. Her hide is dappled with scars and pockmarks from past battles, as well as recently healing wounds.

After she encountered an alchemist's trap in the desert, a rampant crop of glow mushrooms has begun growing up her arm and to her shoulder. To help control the never ending growth she allows Kellan to remove them every few days, helping to supply the clan with much-needed food. Due to the mushrooms' growth, Strontium eats twice as much as a normal dragon to keep up her strength as the mushrooms sap the nutrients from her body.

She looks like she'll lay a dragon out. Seems like she'd run a meaner and leaner shift than your snapper gal but boy do I love her - designated queen (so says a passer-by)
