Ceramis is a friendly Skydancer, however incapable of powered flight due to weak wing muscles. Instead, she catches the wind currents and glides where she needs to. This works pretty well in the Windswept Plateau, but not much anywhere else, though she can use some wind magic to help herself somewhat.

Ceramis and Columba live together on their own airship, and have been dating for some time. Ceramis likes to help out Columba with her mail delivery where she can.

Wildwood Owl

Junaipa often follows Ceramis in her weird flights. Just like her, Junaipa mostly floats, though she likely does so to copy her a bit. It seems she is a very good friend to Pearly Jewel, a sakura owl.

Fuiran

Fuiran are one of the few species in the Shifting Expanse that prey upon Scalebacks. Their powerful jaws are capable of cracking the thick hide.

Fui has tattered wings, apparently due to a bad fight he had once, and can't glide because of that. Ceramis lets him ride on her when she's flying.

Brown River Flight

A fastidious and precise familiar. The brown river flight is not capable of true flight, but its powerful wings propel it through the water at great speeds.
